Join us for World Food Day, a more important focus than ever as armed conflict causes great hunger around the world. As our local harvests from land and water are gathered in, come out and learn what we can do for neighbours in need.
Rick Block and Miriam Harder, colleagues at the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, will share historical and current contexts from Canada and the Palestinian Territories exploring how land, identity, and conflict can create tragic circumstances- but also springs of hope, resilience, and unity.
This will be a participatory event and will include table group discussions for in-person and online participants, as well as various calls to action and prayer. Join us in person or online! Hosted by Mennonite Church Canada SK, and Living Skies Regional Council. Canadian Foodgrains Bank unites Mennonite and United traditions and many others in its work across the Prairies and around the world.
The presentation will be broadcast on Grosvenor Park UC’s YouTube channel: click here for the link. A Zoom link for the discussion will be shared at the start of the event. Help invite others! https://tinyurl.com/yxspxf4n
