Join in an opportunity to learn about important issues of Justice in Western Sahara which has been called “Africa’s Last Colony”.
This is disputed land, currently the site of armed conflict and a crisis of displaced people. The current US Administration has flouted international consensus siding with the colonizing Moroccan government agains the Saharawi people, while major Canadian Agricultural companies continue to do business despite grievous human rights violations.
We are joined by Joshua Campbell, the creator of “Sirocco: Winds of Resistance” who will share his film and then facilitate conversation with others who will speak to the current situation in relation to international law, the on-the-ground situation and more.
