Our Regional Council meeting is coming up June 13-15, and it wouldn’t be a United Church meeting if we didn’t try to do ALL THE THINGS in one go. There are two worship services and one day-long workshop to which you are all invited, in person in Saskatoon, or via livestream on our YouTube channel.
Everyone is also welcome to the full Regional meeting, but you must register as a visitor or delegate.

Living Skies Affirming Celebration, Thursday June 13, 2:00PM

Having finished the formal requirements of the Affirming process, Living Skies now moves into new commitments to living into being Affirming. All are welcome to the Affirming celebration, online via YouTube, and in person, Thursday June 13 at 2:00PM, at the Living Skies Regional Council meeting opening worship. Absolutely everyone is welcome! You do not need to be a meeting delegate to attend, and the space is accessible. Free parking is available. Use this link to invite people.

Moderator’s Flourishing workshop Saturday June 15 10:00AM-4:00PM

Join our Moderator, the Right Rev. Carmen Lansdowne in this public all-day workshop! United Church folks from across the Region are invited to attend and participate. Here’s the shareable invitation and full details. We also plan to make this accessible on Zoom, but this isn’t guaranteed.
Registration: You don’t need to be a delegate to the full meeting to attend- all are welcome, especially as a team from your community of faith or ministry. If you’re already registered as a delegate, visitor, or guest, you don’t need to register again. Here’s the Saturday registration form. Deadline: May 29, because of catering deadlines.
Cost? Free. You will need to pay for lunch if you wish to have it at the hotel, but the day is free. What’s this about? It’s a space to collectively engage questions about how our communities and churches can thrive, instead of just survive.

Knox United Church, 838 Spadina Cres. E., Saskatoon, and online via YouTube, beginning at 10:00AM sharp. Message: Moderator Rt Rev Dr Carmen Lansdowne. Our service includes admitting, commissioning, honouring retirees, ordaining, recognizing LLWLs, and sharing in communion. Thanks to the Saskatoon churches, we will share in a light lunch after.
