Women’s Camp at Camp Shagabec (Cypress Hills Provincial Park)

All United Church of Canada Women and guests are welcome, you do not have to be a UCW member to attend! Please bring a history book from your community, if you have one and are willing to have others look at it. Our theme is “Small Town Saskatchewan” Registration cost—$20 includes lunch.
Please register with Donna Barber prior to Wednesday, June 1, 2022 . Email—donlyn@sasktel.net, phone – 306-773-6081 (home) or text – 306-750-8810. Bring the names of the deceased women from your congregation for the memorial service. AND, bring your cookies for Camp!
Schedule for Monday, June 13 (subject to change)
10 – 10:45 a.m. Registration $20.00-muffins and coffee and visiting
10:45 – 11 a.m. Game to get acquainted
11:00 – Noon Worship Service with communion
Noon – 1 p.m. Catered lunch (cost is in registration)
1 – 1:30 p.m. Fresh air time walk or enjoy the camp site. If weather not good possibly a sing song
1:30 – 2 p.m. Guest speaker or browse history books
2 – 2:15 p.m. Break
2:15 – 2:45 p.m. Activity: craft, games
2:45 – 3 p.m. Camp Shagabec report
3 – 3:25 p.m. Short meeting re: finance, do we have another Women’s Day Camp, if so who will host?
3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Memorial Service
4:15 p.m. Home time.
