9:30 – 11:00 We welcome Janice MacLean of the Prayer Bench ministry.
From Janice MacLean: “I noticed the Lectionary readings for the season of Easter has three wonderful stories in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles of woman knowing Jesus in a new way. So here is what I am working on for a presentation and group discussion.”
THEME
ACTS: What Tabitha, Lydia and an un-named slave girl teach us about knowing Jesus in a new way and continuing in hope. (Acts 9:36-43; Acts 16: 9-15)
Through art, music and poetry, we’ll remember their stories. They rest from their labours and yet their work follows them. We’ll discover what they teach us about continuing in hope and how they accompany us today in our life and work.
After the presentation, there will be time for questions.
We hope to have lots of UCW members join us for a May morning with Janice.
