Thursday
A) Soul Care – Seeing with Sacred Eyes with Kathy Roy (https://spiritgarden.ca). Explore how modern and ancient wisdom teachers invite us to cultivate awe and wonder as a resource that replenishes the soul. Discover how awe and wonder help to hold the tension of balancing sacred stillness with the busyness of being the hands and feet of Christ as ministry personnel.

B) Inside Out: Vulnerability and Agency in Modern Ministry with Michele Rowe. This workshop examines some of the principles we’ve learned about leadership and how they may no longer serve us today. We will begin to identify where we might find agency in a world that is increasingly beyond our control. Underlying our work together is Jesus’ assertion to “Love our neighbour as yourself.”

Friday
A) Soul Care – Gateways to Gratitude with Kathy Roy.  Explore how practicing self-compassion and gratitude are a way of nurturing our souls and practicing self-care. You will receive resources as well as practices you can easily integrate into your daily life.

B) Scripture Study as rest with Janet Ross.  How do we find rest for our souls?  The prophet Jeremiah named four steps, starting with ‘stand at the crossroads’.  Let’s explore what these steps mean for us today.
