Lafleche is hosting the Palestine Land Exercise on Saturday, March 21st from 1-4 PM. The Palestine Land Exercise is an experiential learning activity of 2 and a half hours overall with a snack break included. It’s designed for 25 to 30 participants that sit around a large fabric map and unveil the story of Palestine starting from the time the British were there to the present time. The story progresses through cards that participants read aloud. At the end of the exercise, there will be a talking circle where it will be possible to ask questions and express one’s impressions of the activity. The final topic is “What do we do next?” and a power point will be shown to conclude the exercise. To reserve your spot, please call Judy Reiman (306-648-8270) or Beth Tallon (306-472-7816). Cost is $10/participant to cover the cost of mileage for our presenters.
