Upcoming Provincial Election – What Matters Most to Our Province?

Tuesday May 28th 2024 (12:00 Noon-1:30 PM)- bring your lunch! Stay as long as your schedule permits.

Our new Living Skies Justice Team invites you to come and share your hopes and concerns regarding the upcoming Saskatchewan General Election slated for this fall.  All welcome to this open house gathering to come together, listen, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the issues that deeply affect the lives of people in our province and the Treaty lands we share. Some invited resource people will be asked to share, and we’re all invited into the conversation about concerns and strategy. We as the United Church of Canada are non-partisan. Our concerns are for the Earth and all God’s creatures, and as such are directed to all political parties.

People sharing their ideas with us (so far!) are: Peter Gilmer (anti-poverty); Margaret McKechney (environmental concerns); Adriana Appleton (restorative justice); Chantalle-Morrow-Fesciuc (anti-poverty and Indigenous justice)
