SUMMARY:SUCCW Gathering and AGM
DESCRIPTION:The Saskatchewan United Church Women’s Gathering is open for all women of The United Church of Canada and will be held Saturday\, April 27\, 2024 at St. David’s Trinity United Church (3318 Merritt Street\, Saskatoon).    Here is an updated poster. \nOur guests are the Rt. Rev. Jordan Cantwell\, former Moderator of the United Church and the Growth Animator for the Prairies and Carolle Dallas-Arbuckle\, Representing our National UCW. \nTheme: Growing Spiritually based on Scripture: Mark 1:29 – 39.  This is from verse 34: “And he healed many who were sick with various diseases; and cast out many demons.   And He would not permit the demons to speak\, because they knew Him.” \nRegistration:  9:00 am. with the Programme to follow at 9:45 a.m. (note time change).  Cost: $30 (includes coffee and lunch).   Registration deadline: April 19\, 2024.   Here is the registration form. (it will download to your computer) \nAs part of the worship service\, an “In Memoriam” for the women in your community of faith who have passed away in 2023 will be held.  If possible\, please send a picture and obituary to Barb Bradley at greenview@sasktel.net \nAlso\, a short AGM will be held to fill two positions: first vice-chair and secretary.  Please email your nominations to Dawn Weber at morning.glory6.dw@gmail.com . \nThere will also be a silent auction.  The monies made are being split between two charities and a small amount will be held back for the next gathering.  If you are able to bring something for this auction\, please let Dawn Weber know at morning.glory6.dw@gmail.com.
