DESCRIPTION:Join us in person or via livestream! \nAll welcome as Calvary United Church in Prince Albert SK\, Treaty Six and Métis homeland\, hosts a Regional service of worship to bring us together in community from all across Saskatchewan and beyond. \nJoin us at 10:00AM SK time on Sunday May 28 for music\, and at 10:30AM for the service\, which will last between an hour and 90 minutes. Click here for the livestream link.\nChurch address: 114 25 St E\, Prince Albert\, SK. \nAbout the service\nWe will participate together in the ordination of Sarah Giles and Minyuk Hwang into ministry in the United Church; we will honour Licensed Lay Worship Leaders and those retiring from ministry. Rev Michele Rowe will offer the message\, and we’ll share in communion\, singing\, and community together.  If you’re joining the livestream\, bring communion elements. We look forward to joining with you in this service of praise and celebration. \n\n

Generally\, we begin Thursday afternoon\, meet all day Friday and evening Friday\, and Saturday through the day\, ending with a celebration over dinner. On Sunday we hold an open worship service.

SUMMARY:Youth at Regional Council 2023
DESCRIPTION:All the United Churches in Saskatchewan are gathering to connect with each other\, discuss current issues\, and make decisions about the future of the church… and the youth will be a part of it! Come and join us for 4 days in Prince Albert for an awesome time to learn about how the church works\, get to know youth from other parts of the province\, and reconnect with friends you’ve already met.  We’ll be spending time as part of the conference and then also breaking off into our own youth-only time\, including a trip to beautiful Camp Christopher on Saturday afternoon\, sleepovers and games at Calvary United Church every night\, and attending the Heart of the Youth Powwow on Friday. \nWe can’t wait to see you there! \nWe will be sleeping on the floor at Calvary United Church in Prince Albert\, and carpooling over to the event at the Exhibition Centre for the meetings.  We will head out to Camp Christopher on Christopher Lake on Saturday afternoon\, which is about 50 km north of PA.  Youth participants are not permitted to drive their own vehicles during the event – rides will be arranged. \nThe Regional Council event starts for all participants at 2 pm on Thursday the 25th\, but the youth will gather at the Exhibition Centre at 1 pm to check in and meet each other before things get started.  Everything wraps up on Sunday at noon once the Service of Praise is finished at Calvary United Church. \nMeals and snacks for Thursday afternoon\, Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday morning will all be included in the registration fee. \nLeadership Team (just in case you’re wondering) \nRev. Lindsay Mohn (she/her) is the regional Minister in support of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for Living Skies Region (geographic Saskatchewan).  She’s playing the role of registrar and planning team co-ordinator for this retreat and is excited to be working a bunch of amazing leadership people. \nJosie Williamson (she/her) is the Living Skies Region Youth and Young Adult Animator.  It’s a long title for explaining that she works on awesome youth events\, communication and community building for youth and young adult ministries in our province. \nSamantha Clayton (she/her) is the Youth and Families Minister at Calvary United Church in Prince Albert and will be graciously welcoming our group to the comfy church floor at Calvary for our sleepovers! \nLindsay: livingskiesyaya@united-church.ca \nJosie: lsyayac.josie@gmail.com \n  \nTO REGISTER: https://form.jotform.com/230825724715255
