Good News is here! \nThe Living Skies Regional Council Meeting Planning Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 Regional Meeting will be held from June 13 to 15  at the Travelodge\, Idylwyld Dr. N. and Circle Dr\, Saskatoon. \nModerator the Right Rev. Carmen Lansdowne will attend part of our meeting and offer a full-day workshop open to all on Saturday June 15- all welcome.  This year the registration fee will remain at $175.00  \nThe Service of Praise will be at Knox United Church in Saskatoon on Sunday\, June 16. \nOur theme will explore what it is to live out deep spirituality\, bold discipleship\, and daring justice here in our context.

DESCRIPTION:Moderator’s Flourishing workshop\, open to all\, Saturday June 15\, Saskatoon Travelodge and conference centre\, 106 Circle Dr W\, Saskatoon\, 10:00AM-4:00PM\nJoin our Moderator\, the Right Rev. Carmen Lansdowne in this public all-day workshop! United Church folks from across the Region are invited to attend and participate. The space has free parking and is accessible. Please share this invitation with your community of faith! \nRegistration\nYou don’t need to be a delegate to the full meeting to attend- all are welcome\, especially as a team from your community of faith or ministry.  If you’re already registered as a delegate\, visitor\, or guest\, you don’t need to register again. Here’s the registration form.  Deadline: May 29\, because of catering deadlines. \nCost? Free.\nYou will need to pay for lunch if you wish to have it at the hotel\, but the day is free\, thanks to the assessments your community of faith contributes to the wider church \nWhat’s this about?\nIt’s a space to collectively engage questions about how our communities and churches can thrive\, instead of just survive. Flourishing means living a good\, fulfilling life\, a life with a sense of purpose. What does it mean to flourish in a post-Covid world? \nTo flourish\, we need to dream in ways that inspire tangible actions so individuals and communities across the nation and the world can flourish.
