DESCRIPTION:Online Worship: A Panel Discussion of Techie Wisdom\nWednesday\, April 14th\, 7pm\n\nTo Register: https://form.jotform.com/210574707062250\nDownload: Event Poster/Info Sheet \nOne of the pandemic-revelations for the church has been the explosion of information around online worship experiences.  Even as we struggle with physical isolation of our church families\, we’re learning about the ministry opportunities of live-streaming\, video-editing\, music recording\, and virtual meeting platforms.  It hasn’t been easy\, but in some ways it’s kinda forced us to embrace new & exciting ways of sharing in faith community together. \n“What has been the most exciting or unexpected benefit of online worship?”\n“What’s one piece of advice for a congregation just getting started with online worship?”\n“What does the future hold for online worship?” \nJoin us for a hosted panel discussion of Online Worship in our congregations.  Our tech gurus bring a wealth of insight & experience\, and will share some of their favourite technical tips\, tricks\, gadgets & software.  Perhaps even more importantly\, we’ll also talk about the faith opportunities that online worship and community may hold for our own congregations and the United Church of Canada. \n  \nAbout our presenters:\nCheri Uthe leads the tech team at Mayfair UC creating live-stream worship services. She is also the owner of Faith Productions\, a video production company with a specialty in memorials & tributes.   \nKen Glover is on the tech team at St. Martins’ UC in support of recorded worship services.
