SUMMARY:Advent Conversations Around the Fire: Igniting Sparks of Creative Contemplation on Hope\, Peace\, Joy and Love
DESCRIPTION:A zoom based retreat that offers time to reflect on advent themes around the light of a candle\, express the themes creatively at a contemplative pace\, and harvest deeper awareness about hope\, peace\, joy and love through sharing together. We will spend the first hour on zoom sharing and reflecting on stories \, poems\, songs\, quotes\, symbols\, meditations and/or experiences that focus on each of the themes on separate days\, followed by a couple of hours to go off and contemplate and create. The last hour will be spent back on zoom for a time of sharing which will help us continue reflecting with greater depth as we create an advent altar to guide us spiritually through each week. Upon leaving\, we will have many new insights sparked by wonderful conversations and creative expressions that began around the light of a candle\, which we can integrate into our personal lives and/or worship planning.
