DESCRIPTION:Interest has been raised in having some focussed time during the Ministry Personnel Gatherings (Tuesdays\, at 1:00pm).  So\, for the next few weeks\, these gatherings will be 90 minutes\, beginning with general announcements\, small group check-in (10 mins)\, and a focussed topic.  Ministry Personnel are warmly invited to attend any part of the gathering that will be useful.  The schedule is as follows:  Today – creative options to connect folks on-line \nUpcoming topics: \n\nNovember 3 – creative options to connect folks off-line\nNovember 10 – creative ideas for Christmas\nNovember 12 – pre-Advent retreat with Marg\nNovember 17 – creating an online worship component exchange (sermon\, prayers\, music\, children’s time\, engaging scripture reading\, etc.)\n\nPlease note there is a new Zoom link that includes a password: https://united-church.zoom.us/j/93146504904?pwd=SVAyLyt1YmUxRktVYnJibVpiR2h4QT09.

SUMMARY:Regional Gathering Meeting #1
DESCRIPTION:The first of 2 evenings to deal with the business portion of the Annual Gathering.  Lay Delegate from each community of faith will be invited to participate in the 2 nights – October 28 and November 4\, 2020 to discuss\, to discern and to decide on the business presented.  Tonight’s Zoom call will introduce the business matters that are to be dealt with and discussed. \nEach evening will start at 6:30 with a short time for set up to allow for instructions for the meeting ( how to name yourself\, how to vote\, etc)  with the actual educational and business portion being held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.   \nPlease watch the Regional Gathering page (link is on the front page of the Living Skies website  —   livingskiesrc.ca ) and the Regional Rambler newsletter for more details.
