But really\, websites are the primary way for churches today to communicate\, connect\, and invite people into a faith community. Not having a website today is like not having a phone. \nThe problem is that most of us are intimidated by idea of developing and maintaining websites for our church communities. That’s why we hired Alicia as a summer student with the Region. Alicia helped to develop a simple\, very inexpensive\, standardized Worspress template for church websites. We want to show it to you. \nSo\, for the first part of the evening\, we’ll talk about general tips & suggestions for church websites. What needs to be there\, what people are looking for\, and a few common mistakes to be avoided. \nThe second part will be an introduction to the pilot project Living Skies Church Website Template. It’s already up and running for a few guinea pig communities of faith in the Region.
