SUMMARY:Spring YAYAC Retreat (grade 7-12)
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for another YAYAC Retreat! \nJoin us in Regina April 26-28 for a weekend of faith and spirituality\, games and laughter\, and a chance to talk about the stuff that’s going on in YOUR world.  There will be opportunities for fun\, loud exuberance\, as well as quiet reflection\, creativity and conversation. \nThe good folks of Knox-Metropolitan United Church in Regina have graciously agreed to host us\, and we’ll be pulling up a chunk of comfy church floor to sleep on for a couple of nights.  We’ll send a more detailed packing list closer to the event\, but you’ll need warm clothes and a sleeping bag and mat! \nThe cost is $50\, but as always if money is an issue we have some sponsorships available – just let us know in your registration. \nCome with a group of friends\, or come and meet some new ones! SUMMARY:Film and Faith
DESCRIPTION:Film & Faith is an opportunity to watch a movie and have discussion afterward about the spiritual themes experienced or observed in the film.  We meet the last Friday of each month and are presently back to attending the theatres\, although some months we stream a movie at the church if the theatre selection is limited. \nWe often vote on your preferred movie in the poll on our Facebook event page.  The movie with the most votes\, if it is playing come movie time will be selected.  Suggestions welcome. \nThis event is pay what you can.  We buy the tickets and you pay us if you can.  RSVP by texting the word ‘Film’ to 306-517-6797 or by e-mail: russell.eastside@gmail.com.
